Blast Kid :: Snap Your Fingers

Introduction by Blast Kid:

"If you feel like patting your feet, pat your feet. If you feel like clapping your hands, clap your hands. And if you feel like taking off your shoes, take off your shoes. We are here to have a ball."

No words could've better set the mood for this mix than Art Blakey's introduction from the legendary Jazz Messengers concert in jazz club Birdland in the mid fifties. Blast Kid selected and mixed some of his favorite hard bop, latin jazz, bossa nova and nujazz tunes to introduce you to the sound of Snap Your Fingers, LDBK Radio's jazz show (formerly known as Pulsations - http://ldbk.eu/listen). Snap Your Fingers is also the name of a jazz dj duo consisting of The Groove Gardener and Blast Kid The Jazz Kid.
